It is time to discover Oslo, the capital of Norway !
After 45 minutes by train, I met Daisy the owner of the Airbnb that I booked yesterday in the evening. She lives in Grünerløkka district in the center of Oslo and has 5 beds for students who travel to Norway. Today, another person was in Daisy's house. It was Laure, a French girl in Oslo for 3 days. For the occasion, Daisy prepared a "kjøttkaker" (I can't correctly prononce this word...). It was typical meatballs that we ate with vegetables.
In the afternoon, Daisy went back to work and Laure suggested me a visit of Damstredet and Telthusbakken. These two streets were colorful with a lot wooden houses (Look at the picture at the top of the article !).
During our walking, we are arrived on the Valkyrie plass where we found the farmer's market "Majorstua". Inside this market we can buy local products from farms near Oslo. It was an incredible mix of smells, colors and tastes. I ate a bit of cheese, fruits and meat.
To finish our tour, we decided to go near the fjord. It was beautiful ! But the wind was so cold; well I took some pictures and we came back to the city
center.
