Saturday in Beijing
Today was my last day in China. First, I went to the swimming pool “The national Aquatics Center” the Water Cube! Located on the west of landscape Avenue in the Olympic Green and to the west of National Stadium in Beijing, the National Aquatics Center contains the official 2008 Olympics swimming facility.
The National Aquatics Center looks like a huge blue box, and its nickname “the Water Cube”. I have never seen that before, this monument is extraordinary because of its design and its size. I swam in the water were many champions went in.
Then, for lunch, I decided to go to a restaurant the “Yi Zuoyiwang Lijiang Zhuti”. I ate a Taste-bud popping and it was delicious! It was a traditional restaurant which shows relaxing atmosphere.
After this great lunch, I went to Beihai Park. This place is very peaceful and quiet. I recommend it to people who need to revitalize themselves. There is a lot of lakes, temples, bridges, and vegetation.
Before leaving, I took a snack, a typical salty biscuit in Beijing. I enjoyed it !
Now, it’s time to leave China to discover New Zealand. I think that this country is a beautiful one and I’m excited to meet the inhabitants and their culture.
I will miss China.
Good night and see you tomorrow for new adventures.
